A complete identity and retail system for a small-batch roaster scaling from one Alexandria café to Gulf-wide retail.
A top-five regional roaster trading under a logo their founder drew on a napkin. Solace needed an identity that would scale from a single café in Alexandria to retail across the Gulf, without losing the feeling of being made by hand.
We stepped Solace away from the category’s default register — no beans, no steam, no woodcut. The story became about the daily ritual, not the product.
A quiet roman-italic mark in a deep brick red, and a circular secondary mark that doubles as a roast-date stamp on every bag.
Packaging, retail, signage, takeaway cups, and a Shopify store — eighteen months of work spanning every surface the brand touches.
Solace doubled retail revenue in twelve months and opened its second café in Kuwait — the system held across both.
